Paco Romane is the host/producer of The Romane Event every month. STEPHANIE PAUL has recently been seen performing Stand Up with comics at The Improv in San Jose, The Comedy Store on Sunset, The Comedy Club in San Francisco, and is excited to be working with her favourite "Hot Chicks" at The Improv in Hollywood, on Sundays. Catch her starting February performing every Tuesday at The Comedy Store with the New "Trippin Tuesday Improv Troupe". Also regular comedy venues like Room 5, 14 below, and 3 clubs.
A native New Zealander recently arrived to Los Angeles, Stephanie's talents crossed the pond early on in her portrayals in such familiar imports as TV's Hercules and Xena. She's also been seen in CBS's daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful. Film credits include Ellie Kanner's feature film "Crazy Love", where Stephanie worked alongside Reiko Aylesworth and Jobeth Williams, . The lead role of "Sara" in Douglas Underdahl's "Film School Confidential", a feature film which has been official selection in over 12 festivals winning several awards.
CAITLIN GILL is a rising talent in the San Francisco comedy scene, people are talking about Caitlin Gill. Most of those are people stuck in conversations with her father, who is really, really excited about his daughter telling dirty jokes to strangers in clubs. Her style twists her personal experiences into engaging bits and stories, and drops phrases in your ear that will later litter your lexicon. Since beginning her career in 2007, Caitlin has performed at the San Francisco Punchline, the Purple Onion, 12 Galaxies, and a couple of places in the tenderloin that used to be comedy clubs but are now abandoned buildings. BEATA BAKHIATARI-My stand up comedy consists of me pretending I'm not feeling awkward and uncomfortable on stage. I also bag on little kids and old people (geezers) cause I like picking on people that are inferior to me. suuuckeeeers. I'm looking to join a sketch comedy group.
RACHEL MCDOWELL Forget all you're thinking when this dynamo hits the stage. Rachel doesn't fit into the mold of women that Barbie built, but her comedy will blow you away. During her show Rachel takes the audience on a hilarious tour of what women will go to make themselves beautiful by society's standards, but in the end she let's women know its okay to just be to themselves. Rachel shares her unique and adorable perspectives on culture, relationships, and laughing in a way that both sexes and all ages enjoy. She leaves the audience wanting more and has quickly become a crowd favorite.
MARCELLA ARGUELLO is too lazy to shoot hoops and much too smart to model, Marcella Arguello may be taller than most men, but the only thing more intimidating than her height is her comedy. Marcella, a rising talent in the San Francisco area, mixes a combination of genuine reason with a sexy suggestion of street. Deemed as "sexually and ethnically ambiguous" she appeals to everyone and is not afraid to tell you how she really feels about subjects concerning gender, family, work and Fergie.
Marcella plays all over the Bay Area and Central Valley and recently opened for former SNL player Norm MacDonald.
