PACO ROMANE - A SMALL CITY GUY WITH A BIG CITY ADDRESS! PERFORMING: I have been performing stand up for a few years and have played clubs and festivals around the country, including: The Punchline SF, The Punchline Sacremento, Cobb's Comedy Club, The Comedy Connextion Lansing Mi, the legendary The Purple Onion, The Rock Make Festival, The Gulf Coast Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest and many others. I have performed with such comedy luminaries as Robin Williams, Rick Overton, Kids in The Hall, Kevin Meany, Tom Simmons, Will Durst, Johnny Steele, Marga Gomez, Will Franken, Larry "Bubbles" Brown, Brent Weinbach, Joe Klocek, Mo Mandel, Ali Wong and many others. AWARDS: I was voted "Best Comedian" by The SF Bay Guardian, and was voted Runner-Up in The SF Weekly in 2007 and 2008. HOSTING: I have been hosting and producing The Romane Event for 6 years at The Make-Out Room in SF. The Romane Event is a very popular comedy show and has called "one of the best monthly comedy shows in SF" by sfstandup.com, "hilarious" by The Onion, and "recommended" by NPR. I am a skilled Host and feature act and am available for corporate, private or any comedy showcases. I have hosted many great shows and am considered a very good host due to my energy, abilities and jokes. I am popular at Universities and Collages all around the country, and have performed in SF, LA, Oakland, Berkeley, Chicago,Florida, Michiga and all points in between!
