The Short Bio of Paco Romane or “How To Have Friends For Fun and Profit”

Paco Romane- Comedian/Actor

Paco Romane is one of those guys who’s done a little bit of everything, from stand-up, acting, writing, and improv to voice-overs, podcasts, and producing comedy shows like the The Charm Offensive. He’s also one of those guys who wins awards and titles while doing so. Known as a versatile mash-up of everything comedic, Romane is a natural entertainer ready to riff on bad breakups or poke fun at himself and his everyman physique. If you head to his show, prepare to be charmed by Romane and his easy-going, self-effacing ways, but remember: no hugs. Romane is a strict non-hugger (Good Times Review). He his appearances on Comedy Central, numerous commercials, films and festival appearances have made him a crowd favorite. His comedy has been profiled on NBC, NPR, SF Chronicle, Time Out SF and many others! His debut comedy album “Shaped Like A Thumb” and his podcast about documentaries Sup Doc are available on iTunes. His comedy idol Robin Williams once said about Paco “Sharp as a knife and quick as lightening with just the right amount of charm”.

He has worked with many of the top names in comedy including: Robin Williams, Ali Wong, Norm MacDonald, Todd Glass, Dana Gould, Roy Wood Jr, Hannibal Buress, Nate Bargatze, Moshe Kasher and Maria Bamford…phew..name dropping can be exhausting. You can see him perform regularly at clubs and universities around the country.  Paco likes to play a little b-ball on the weekends and he’ll probably order another round of wings.
