Comedian, Television writer and Ed Wood superfan Dana Gould (“The Simpsons,” “Stan Against Evil”) brings a special adaptation of the classic film’s screenplay to the stage this year at SF Sketchfest: one that involves producer and artist Pam Severns’ puppetry, comedians, and wry stage directions and narration that pay tribute to the film’s, shall we say, quirkier qualities.
Nice ‘lil write up in the Sf Weekly about the Plan 9 reading in @sf_sketchfest This cast was insane. The moment he is referencing is one of the funniest things I’ve seen on stage! @thejvclub not only had many people helping her out but kept acting, reading and improvising during the entire situation. #amazing
